In yet another sad turn of events, a 16 year old student of Excel High School Mukono has died after spending three days in coma at the St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor in Gulu city today afternoon. The deceased had returned home in Gulu for holidays where he has met his death. The Education service commission has in a list released on 19th November 2025 confirmed a total of 439 officers to serve in the education sector and health in different positions across the country. Those confirmed include Assistant Education officers, Laboratory Assistants, Education officers, Senior Assistant Accountants, Enrolled nurses, Library Assistants, and Stenographer Secretaries.
