The race has attracted more than 10 candidates with NRM, FDC, DP, NUP all fronting candidates. In the news this morning, a man identified as Agaba Benjamin has set himself on fire near the entrance of the Ugandan parliament in Kampala. In videos makings rounds on social media, the man is seen covered in fire and later being helped by police officers and boda boda riders who poured water on him to cool off the fire but sustained serious burn injuries.
