In a surprising turn of events, the family of fallen controversial Ugandan journalist Tamale Mirundi has issued a public apology to the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, and the Buganda Kingdom. Early last month, residents of Kampala and Wakiso was thrown in shock and mourning after the collapse of the Kiteezi landfill which killed over 30 people including women and children. The tragedy left many homeless and several missing and remain missing until now.
