The Inspector General of Government [IGG] has formally charged Eight parliamentary bosses who were close and tight buddies of former Speaker Anita Among who last appeared in public on 13th May when she was sworn in as Women Member of parliament for Bukedea District. She fell from the pinnacle of authority after being ordered to drop from the race of speakership leading to the ascending of West Budama Central MP Jacob Oboth Oboth as the new Speaker Deputized by Thomas Tayebwa who also Deputized Anita Among in the 11th parliament.
The Eight arrested this morning and charged in the anti-corruption court include Chris Ariko Obore the Director of Communications, Adilo Daniel the Director Human Resource, Okema Leonard the Executive Secretary Office of the speaker, Okwi Emmanuel Emuron the Principal Protocal Officer, Rajab Kaaya Ssemalulu the Principal Research Officer, Otebata Vincent the Capacity Development Officer, Murebe Methods the Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Parliamentary SACCO and one lady Itute Stella a personal Assistant all working at parliament.

According to information obtained by this publication, Chris Obore is accused of swindling Shs5.2billions, Adilo is accused of swindling Shs14.6billion, Okema Leonard is accused of swindling Shs3.4billion, Rajab Kaaya Ssemalulu is accused of swindling Shs2.1 billion, Otebata Vincent is accused of swindling Shs5.2billion while the only lady so far netted Itute Stella is accused of swindling Shs75million.
Chris Obore, Adilo Daniel, Rajab Kaaya, Okema Leonard, Otebata Vincent and Murebe Methods the CEO of the Parliamentary SACCO are again separately accused of swindling Shs10.8billion all money looted from the Parliamentary SACCO.
Their former boss also Bukedea Woman MP Annet Anita Among has since 13th May been placed under house arrest following search operations sanctioned by authorities who confiscated several documents, hard cash, computers, several of her luxury cars including the Shs3.4billion Rolls Royce which is at the centre of this whole storm. She remains caged at her Nakasero residence with visitors seeking permission first before visiting her.
All the eight bosses who reported to work today just like any other day were invited at the IGG offices for a quick meeting. Some were at parliament while others where at Speke Resort Munyonyo were legislators are undergoing induction. When all the eight were present, the were greeted with charges which will have them presented before the anti-corruption court.
