For a month now, Joy Ruth Acheng who had been Uganda’s ambassador has been in the country ever since she was deported from Canada over what authorities called uncouth behavior and is now in the country unemployed.

The deported ambassador has been pressurizing the president to be re-deployed to another mission but the president seems too busy to read her posts of X formerly twitter.

Now following the dismissal for three top bosses at the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA); Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka, her Deputy Eng David Luyimbaazi and Dr Daniel Ojok, Ambassodor Acheng now wants Museveni to appoint her and she takes over as the new ED of KCCA since she finds herself eligible the position.

While firing the three, Museveni ordered the Public Service to advertise the three jobs and follow the due process. He also asked the Minister for Kampala Minsa Kabanda to recommend names of three people who can be working in acting capacity to foster continuity at the authority.
