Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has been away from Uganda and from his duties due to some sickness which he has been battling with for the last 3 years but recent photos seen by this publication show the king is not as sick as many alarmist bloggers claim.
His absence from the kingdom and from the public domain had elicited mixed reactions raised suspicions among his subjects and politicians have been demanding to see the king. Baganda have staged several protests at the Namibian embassy in London.
It was earlier revealed that the King is in Namibia undergoing treatment owing to advise of his Germany Doctors who recommended a hospital in Namibia for the king to rest from as he undergoes treatment and a healing process.

As the demand for the Kabaka raged on, the Kingdom led by the King’s brother Prince David Wassaja Kintu, Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga and Namwama Augustine Kizito Mutumba the head of the Bataka council revealed details regarding the King’s absence and his health condition.
“Medical Specialists in German whom the king had gone to see in March this year thought it wise that to get an everlasting healing, it was wise for the King to spend an ample time resting from duty and avoid anything work related errands because too much work would lead to some pain. These specialists recommended other specialists [who work from Namibia] to the King where he would go to rest as he also receives medical attention”-read part of the statement from the Kingdom
The statement further clarifies that it’s not true that the King is very ill as some people have been reporting and despite the King’s absence from the public domain, everything at and in the kingdom moves on well and the King as recommended by his medical team will be away for a bit longer.
“It’s right and good to emphasize that the King is not too sick and bedridden. But he needs a specified period of time to rest while in the hands of the medical experts to be able to heal properly”
Further the statement also indicates that news and updates regarding the King’s health only comes from the Katikiro and not any one else but it’s prudent to keep the king in prayers as he undergoes treatment and healing.
