They found police and army clad with guns and were not allowed access to Bobi Wine’s residence even after talking to the IGP Abas Byakagaba who also told them he has nothing much to do in granting them permission to enter Bobi Wine’s residence.

However, things took a dark turn after police descended on one of the lawyers Tumusiime Kakuru and bundled him in their waiting van. He was driven to Kasangati police station until late in the evening when he was released on police bond and charged with public nuisance.

Upon arrest, Kakuru’s phones were confiscated and he revealed that while inside the police custody, he was interrogated and questioned about Bobi Wine’s whereabouts and he’s planning after the January General Elections.

This chaos comes just hours after army stormed into MP Patrick Nsanja’s home in Kayunga asking the people they found in the house to tell them if Bobi Wine is hiding there.
