Atleast one person has been confirmed dead and others injured as police opened fire at Bobi Wine supporters who were returning from his rally held at Rail Way grounds in Iganga municipality.
Police in a statement this evening, police claims that Bobi Wine supporters while returning from the rally started throwing stones at police and army who responded with bullets injuring several and killing one person who has been identified as Okello Mesach.

Police has been in the spotlight the whole of this week while shooting and teargassing Bobi Wine supporters with fun without any justification. This week Police even deployed canine dogs to manage crowds in Kawempe at Bobi Wine rallies.
