In the news this evening, former Supreme Mufti of the Kibuli Muslim faction Sheikh Silimani Kasule Ndirangwa has died after battling sickness for some time.
Ndirangwa became Supreme Mufti for the Kibuli Muslim faction in December 2015 replacing Sheikh Zubair Kayongo who died in April the same year from Aga Khan Hospital in Tanzania.
He resigned in April 2021 though details surrounding his resignation were never made public. He has since been living a quiet life. He was replaced Sheikh Muhammad Galabuzi in November the same year.
The Ex Supreme Mufti Ndirangwa has died at the age of 63 from Mengo hospital where he’s admitted.
