During his country tours particularly in Soroti city where he was addressing people who gathered to listen to him, Bobi Wine sent a direct shot to Museveni’s son which has since been interpreted that he was referring to the first son Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba.
“Even if you’re stupid as Museveni’s son, okay did i say that,,,,even if they don’t work, they have their slaves and their slaves are you”- Bobi Wine said as his supporters cheered him.
Bobi Wine though didn’t clearly name which Museveni’s son is stupid that he referred to, suporters and crusaders of Muhoozi project under the Patriotic League of Uganda have released a statement expressing dissatisfaction about Bobi Wine’s utterances.
“We would like to categorically state and inform the people of Uganda and Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba that the people of Uganda are not slaves neither is Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba “stupid”-the statement reads in part.
These have demanded that Bobi Wine retracts the statement and apologizes to President Museveni and Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and the entire country for calling them slaves in their own country.
“The PLU fraternity therefore condemns this act in the strongest terms possible and demands that Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu apologizes to H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda, Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, our beloved chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Ugandans at large who mean well for this country”-the statement further reads
