Recently, the Parliament approved the government’s proposal to borrow over US$190 million from Stanbic Bank Uganda for the Umeme Limited buyout despite concerns raised by legislators on the Committee of National Economy. Its a moment of grief in Kawempe North and among the friends and family of Honorable Ssegirinya Muhammad who has been confirmed dead at Lubaga hospital in Kampala this afternoon. Cartoonist, activist and University Jim Spire Ssentongo has sent a cryptic message to government and politicians in the Museveni government over inhuman treatment of opposition politicians.
