In a new development this afternoon, investigators who are camped at former Speaker Anita Among’s residence in Kigo along Entebbe Road in Wakiso district have seized two of Anita Among’s expensive raids to police as she continues to enjoy Museveni’s music who is determined to call out all spirits of corruption, money laundering inside her.
The Rolls Royce had disappeared from her Nakasero residence on the night she was invited to a tense meeting with President Museveni who openly told it to her face that he was tired of corruption and wouldn’t risk another five years of Anita Among at the helm of parliament.
After searching her Nakasero home in an operation that lasted for almost 16 hours and seizing stuff yet to be known to the public, Investigators peached camp at her other residence in Kigo where they found two of her expensive vehicles hidden. The cars which police has seized so far include a Ranger Rover with customized number AAA and the Rolls Royce registration number UA 426EH both headed to the Police Headquarters in Naguru.
The troubled last night painfully dropped out of the Speakership race which had already heavily invested to convince legislators of the 12th parliament to trust her with the leadership of the house at parliamentary avenue for another 5 years only for things to change in a blink of an eye. After Muhoozi and Museveni endorsed outgoing Minister of Defense Jacob Oboth Oboth for the speakership, Anita had no other option but to painfully quit the race.

Neither Police, nor the army has come out to speak out on the operations they’ve mounted on Anita Among’s residences with reports suggesting that all her other residences in Ntinda, Kololo and Bukedea will undergo the same search operations but she’s most likely going to be tried in the courts of law if evidence pierced together pins her to any offence.
