JUST IN: Another Anita Among’s Home Raided By Security

In another development as the president Museveni tightens the noose on former Speaker Anita Among’s neck over corruption and illicit wealth, security have raided her other home in Kigo along Entebbe road as she continues to pay for her sins committed over the last five years.

This search follows another that lasted over 16 hours at her residence in Nakasero where a lot of money in different currencies stacked in bags and vaults was discovered as operatives comb together evidence to pin Anita Among in corruption. It’s also reported that all her remaining homes in Kyanja, Ntinda, Kololo and Bukedea are also going to be searched the same way.

Hell broke loose for Anita Among when it became known to the public that she bought a vehicle Rolls Royce modal 2025 worthy Shs3.5billion. This expensive car was delivered direct from London by flight bringing it’s total cost to almost Shs4.4billion which has angered the president and those in the corridors of power.

The operations are reportedly extending to all Anita Among’s associates at parliament and the Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa who is equally facing the same predicament as Museveni gets more uneasy over corruption that entrenched itself in parliament under Anita Among.

Anita Among has been one of the very powerful and filthy rich politicians in the country who could buy off anything, anyone at her wish. She had launched her big to contest for Speaker of parliament for the 2nd term after being endorsed by the NRM’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) but this has now changed, she had been ordered to step down from the race and instead the party is considering West Budama Central legislator Jacob Oboth Oboth for speakership.

It’s reported that after being asked to quit the race, the former Speaker was continuing with her clandestine operations to campaign against the president’s wish prompting security to cage her inside her home without moving an inch and a search launched on all her properties.
