President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Saturday visited and commissioned the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja’s model and skilling farm in Kakumiro District. The farm was established with technical support from the National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO) to demonstrate the effectiveness of the 4-Acre Model, an agricultural strategy championed by the President. The model is designed to help smallholder farmers maximize productivity on limited land by integrating food crops, cash crops, livestock, and poultry. Kampala Uganda:- MTN Uganda and its partners have today donated digital equipment and vocational tools to the Busoga Kingdom, reaffirming their commitment to bridging the country’s digital divide and empowering youth through practical skills development. The support, part of MTN’s annual 21 Days of Y’ello Care volunteerism campaign, was received by Busoga Kingdom’s Second Deputy Prime Minister, Osman Noor Ahmed on behalf of the Kingdom at the Inebantu Alice Mulooki Memorial Library and ICT Centre in Jinja. In the news this evening, former Supreme Mufti of the Kibuli Muslim faction Sheikh Silimani Kasule Ndirangwa has died after battling sickness for some time. Ndirangwa became Supreme Mufti for the Kibuli Muslim faction in December 2015 replacing Sheikh Zubair Kayongo who died in April the same year from Aga Khan Hospital in Tanzania.
