In the news this evening, the anti corruption court has convicted former State Minister for Karamoja Affairs also outgoing member of parliament for Buduuda District Agnes Nanduutu to four years in Prison for diverting over 2000 ironsheets meant for the vulnerable families in Karamoja in 2022. In the news this morning, the Constitutional court has struck down the Computer Misuse Act which was amended in September 2022. The private member’s bill tabled by outgoing Kampala Central MP sought to regulate the use of social media and freedom of expression in Uganda.
