Disturbing news reaching our desk indicate that Hellen Nakimuli the Woman Member of Parliament for Kalangala District has died this evening after an unsuccessful surgery. This sad news has been shared by the NUP Principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine via his socials.
A cloud of sorrow now hovers above parliament and Kalangala District where she has served as member of parliament this term ending on 11th May and had been voted again to represent the people of the Island district in the 12th parliament.

Nakimuli was last seen at the Othodox churh St. Nickolas Cathedral in Namunkoona, Kampala early this week as the church led the prayers for the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s 71st birthday.
