Owing to the death of Pope Francis on Easter Monday 21st April 2025, the Catholic Church has now got a new Pope to replace the fallen Pontiff who rested at the age of 88 years after months of battling illness.
Yesterday 7th May 2025, the College of Cardinals convened inside the revered Sistine Chappel in the Vatican to elect a new Pope. Two times since the commencement of the very secretive and indoor activity, the Chimney above the Sistine Chapel has been producing black smoke twice.

The good news now is that the white smoke has now bellowed the Chimney a sign that the 133 cardinals have finally elected a new pope. His name hasn’t yet been revealed but will soon be unveiled to the church world wide at the St Peters Basilica.
