National Unity Platform Principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has taken to his socials to inform his supporters about a possible threat on his life that he’s currently facing.
The firebrand politician revealed that over the past few days, his home is being patrolled by non uniformed men who tend to be armed and he’s all his movements are being trailed putting his life and that of his family members at risk.
This comes at the height of renewed abductions of his supporters and party leaders. Early this week, his elder brother Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu alias Chairman Nyanzi was abducted as he returned from the party headquarters and his whereabouts remain unknown.
A day later, four members of the party’s Election Management Committee were abducted from Mpigi as they returned from a funeral in Masaka. These were later released after being held at the Chieftaincy of Military Headquarters Mbuya for two days.
Few days ago, Museveni’s son also the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) had taken to social media and apologized in advanced for what he was about to do to NUP and it’s leaders but had earlier also vowed that after Besigye, Bobi Wine was his next target.
