The Electoral Commission has confirmed the signatures submitted by National Unity Platform in the last minute rush hour as the party fell short of nomination signatures on Friday last week.
Now the Electoral Commission has confirmed Kyagulanyi as an aspirant after meeting the threshold of signatures and has issued him with a certificate.
The Commission has also pushed the nomination of National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine to Wednesday 24th at 2pm.
He becomes the 5th confirmed aspirant after NRM’s Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, FDC’s James Nathan Nandala Mafabi, Robert Kasibante and Elton Joseph Mabirizi.
