National Unity Platform Deputy Spokesperson also Nakawa East aspirant Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro has re-appeared in a Kawempe court after his violent abduction early this week as he had gone to attend a court session for Bobi Wine’s body guards who were appearing to seek for bail.

Mufumbiro who appeared to apply for bail now claims that the person behind his arrest is People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) Electoral Commission chairperson Micheal Kabaziguruka as the person behind his violent arrest early this week.

He also alleges that while in detention he’s been told to stop supporting Bobi Wine. Mufumbiro also says he’s being accused of taking part an illegal military-like parade at their party headquarters in Makerere Kavule which was inspected by their party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

His arrest followed another violent abduction of other NUP members Habib Buwembo the head of mobilization and Bobi Giant who have since been remanded until the end of this month over the same illegal parade and the army says more will be arrested as long as the took part in the parade 7 months ago.

Mufumbiro appeared in court with Sauda Madada who was also arrested yesterday at the Busia boarder in the Eastern part of the country.
