Ahead of the general elections, several politicians are eyeing different electoral positions at Local government, parliament level and some are eyeing to end president Museveni’s 4-decade rule.
As the Electoral Commission opened up the picking of nomination forms for those eyeing the presidency, over 200 Ugandans thronged their offices to pick up the forms and among these is sitting Kampala Central legislator Mohammed Nsereko who just like Mathias Mpuuga, Norbert Mao, Mubarak Munyagwa is eyeing also eyeing to unseat Museveni.
Posting on her social media, she revealed that she had talked to Nsereko who predicted the heartbreak some NUP members at local government level are going through after being rejected party flags.
Stella Nyanzi now wants all those rejected in NUP to join and support Nereko’s presidential big and his party Ecological Party of Uganda (EPU) where he serves as it’s president. Some of the rejected NUP candidates have already crossed to Mpuuga’s Democratic Front.
“The day is finally here. After yesterday’s rejection, please boldly come and join the national leader who does not reject the broken hearted. Come to Daddy instead of giving up on your dreams of effectively particiating in Uganda’s elections. Mujje, bambi!”-she said in a facebook post.
