National Unity Platform (NUP) is releasing Names of it’s flag bearers for local government ahead of the general elections. The names have been released ahead of the nomination process of Local government by Electoral Commission which starts this week.
In Kalungu, the NUP flag bearer for LC5 is Nyombi Ahmed Mukiibi who has been the incumbent having clinched the position in 2021. The others flag bearers for Directly elected councilor and district women councilor; Jjumba Flancis Gyavira for Bukulula sub-county, Kiiza Fred for Lwabenge sub-county, Kasagga Paul for Lukaya town council, Namirimo Shakira for Bukula North, Namulindwa Shamirah for Lwabenge sub-county, Nakuyo catherine for Lukaya town council women councilor.
Bazadde Kawesa is the sub-county chairperson flag bearer for Bukulula, Magezi Twaha for Lwabenge sub-county and Ssembatya Vincent Jude for Chairperson Lc3 Lukaya town council.
