FORTY YEARS LATER: Museveni Now Says The System Is Rotten And Dead As Corruption Enjoys Free Reception In State House Corridors

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa who has also recently adopted another name Ssemalungu has been in power since 1986 being at the helm of the country for close to 40 years and he has already launched another bid to extend it to 45 years as the country heads to next years elections.

In his 4-decade rule, Museveni’s biggest challenge has been corruption which has costed the tax payer trillions of money with the infrastructure, education and health the most affected sectors by corruption.

The president has in his bid to curb vice of corruption has put in place several units attached to his state house and all these are supposed to fight corruption. The State House Anti-Corruption Unit, State House Investors Protection Unit, State House Land Protection Unit, State House Health Monitoring Unit and another one recently created State House Revenue Intelligence Unit.

With all these Units in place and the official Inspectorate of Government (IGG), corruption remains a household name in Uganda’s governance and management of affairs. To the shock of Ugandans, the president has now revealed that the system he presided over for the last 40 years is now dead and rotten.

In a video making rounds on social media the president has revealed that the corruption in state house is too much to the extent that for some letters to reach him, those sending the letters have to pay as much as Shs40m to have their letters delivered to him.

“People are paying Shs30m, make sure the president sees this letter. And it’s true when i see it, i would answer and give a solution. And the bringer of the letter is paid here here. We’ve arrested them. now those office of yours, many of them are dead, clogged by those parasites but me here i’ve got many ears, i don’t only listen to one person……”the president says
