Mayuge, Uganda: – MTN Uganda has officially launched the Digida and Win with MTN CallerTunez campaign in Bugadde, Mayuge, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the Ugandan music industry while rewarding loyal customers for embracing local music culture.
The campaign, which is rooted in MTN’s Ambition 2025 strategy to build the largest and most valuable platforms in Africa, offers customers an exciting chance to win 18 motorbikes and UGX 30M simply by activating their favourite CallerTunez.

Music holds a special place in Ugandan culture, serving as a universal passion point that transcends age, background, and region. As the country’s number one supporter of the music industry, MTN Uganda has continuously invested in platforms that empower artists and engage fans – from MTN CallerTunez to MoMo ticketing for concerts.
Speaking at the regional launch in Bugadde, Ndawula Mavis Ndagire Musungu, MTN Uganda’s GTM Digital Specialist, emphasized the telco’s dedication to promoting local talent while connecting fans to the music they love in fun and rewarding ways.
“We believe that Ugandan music deserves to be heard far and wide. Digida and Win with MTN CallerTunez is more than a ringback tone campaign – it’s a statement of pride and connection. With this campaign, we’re giving fans a way to support their favourite artists while standing a chance to win big,” she said. “Together, our hits are unstoppable.”
To participate, MTN customers simply need to dial *170*12# to download a caller tune. Additionally, if they enjoy someone else’s tune, they can copy it by pressing * or # when making a call. Each caller tune activation enters the customer into the weekly and monthly draws. Winners are contacted directly through MTN’s official line, 0312120000.
The Digida and Win with MTN CallerTunez campaign will roll out in different regions over the next few months, accompanied by on-ground activations, local artist showcases, and surprise rewards to deepen fan engagement across Uganda. With this initiative, MTN continues to champion homegrown music, empower fans, and elevate the sounds that unite the nation — one caller tune at a time.
