News making rounds indicate that SFC soldiers have reportedly cordoned off National Unity Platform [NUP] offices in Makerere Kavule, Kampala ahead of the party’s press conference scheduled at 2pm.
This party had set this afternoon to address several issues ahead of the 2026 elections which every party is preparing for. Top on the agenda was addressing the disappearance of Bobi Wine’s bodyguard Eddy Ssebuufu alias Eddy Mutwe who was abducted by men with guns driving a drone in Mukono.
A week later, Muhoozi took to his X formerly twitter account and revealed he’s holding Eddy Mutwe in his basement being taught Runyankole. He went ahead and posted Mutwe’s naked photo captioning it with words like he’s being taught Runyankole in the said basement.
His tweets have since caused a storm online with majority wondering why the Army Chief is tagging the Runyankole language with torturing those who oppose the statusquo.
This is the second time Police and army blocking NUP headquarters in one week as other parties like Democratic Party, Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and others continue operating normally and preparing for the General Elections.
Last week, at the DP headquarters, Norbert Mao picked nomination forms to contest on presidency for his party. At FDC Najjanankumbi, the party’s elections boss Toterebuka Bamwenda held a press conference to Launch the party roadmap.
