Earlier Bobi Wine took to his social media pages to inform how four members of the National Unity Platform Election Committee were abducted at gun point yesterday evening as the returned from a funeral.
Their disappearance came one day after the abduction of Bobi Wine’s eldest brother Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu alias Chairman Nyanzi whom men holding guns hijacked in Kampala as he waited at traffic lights on his way from the party headquarters.

According to Bobi Wine, the abductees are being kept at the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence headquarters Mbuya on orders of the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Keinerugaba.
“We’re told that the abducted NUP Election Management Committee members are detained incommunicado at CMI Mbuya on the orders of Museveni’s son!”-Bobi Wine posted
Few days ago Muhoozi in a tweet which he later deleted posted that he’s apologizing to Ugandans in advance for the actions he is going to take against the members of the National Unity Platform.

It has also been revealed by the NUP Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya that Nyanzi who was abducted on Monday has been brought to Wandegeya police station as he waits to know the charges the state will place on him.
“After denying that they abducted Chairman Nyanzi, who has been under inommunicado detention, we have just been informed that operatives from JATT and CMI have brought him at Wandegeya police station now. A regime that lives by lies” Rubongoya started
