Historically and today Agriculture has been the backbone of Uganda’s economy and the country boasts of several exports from Agriculture like Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Meat among others.
A long the way, several other sectors like mining, ICT, tourism among others have boomed and earn the country a lot of money which is in millions of dollars both from sales, services and taxes.
However, there’s a sector that has not been yet recognized but actors dealing in the said business are minting cash and according to the West Budama North Constituency Hon Fox Odoi, it’s high time government legalized prostitution such that the economy can get some cash from the business.
“I strongly feel, we should legalize prostitution, we should regulate that sector, promote it, make some money from it. For us as legislators, our forte isn’t morality. Morality is for the reverends, canons and the Fathers” -says Fox Odoi
