As the internet continues to roast pastor Aloysius Bujingo for an alleged scam of selling a bottle of Soda to his congregants dubbed the holly soda, Citizen Posts now verifies the claims are wrong.
The video which has been based on to make the claims is manipulated and the soda at Canaan land which Bujingo was seen displaying was not for sale but he was instead praying for it and giving it to his congregants to sip it for free as part of the 10 years anniversary of his media empire Salt Empire.
“We came with that idea and have stuck to it that inside the Church of God, there’s nothing for sale, people sipped soda on Sunday for free and we even prayed for it and even those sipped it on the anniversary when Salt Media was making 10 years enjoyed and ate food for free but the Soda that remained, we shall consume it until it gets over…”says Bujingo
Bujingo who continues to face backlash for turning his gospel into a political forum where he’s ever heard endorsing Museveni and Muhoozi in most of his sermons and his recent prayer of death for his enemies is currently under pressure making it clear to his former wife that he moved on.
The news of the holly soda continues to elicit mixed reactions with UNAIDs boss Winnie Byanyima calling out the Uganda police to interest itself in the claims saying the pastor is scamming his church goers.
