Flamboyant Uganda Law Society president Isaac Ssemakadde has warned Makerere University Vice Chancellor Prof Nawangwe to retract the suspension of students who staged a protests against the life threatening hunger taking public Universities in Uganda or he unleashes legal brains to bang his table.
Early this week, MUK students especially those funded by government expressed their dissatisfaction as the University is unable to give them money for meals but in turn, Makerere Vice Chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe instead indefinitely suspended Aliat Oyet, Losiru Felix and Opira Francis
Taking to X formerly twitter, Pastor Martin Sempa who has been at the forefront of exposing the hunger Makerere University revealed that he took the suspended students to Ssemakadde who has also promised to help them and Prof Nawangwe will be sued in his individual capacity.
“….and further unlucky for him this time i have at my disposal 5800 lawyers, am just going to release a division of 40 lawyers on him to bang his tables so that he can clearly understand that the old era of terrorizing and intimidating students is over….”-said Ssemakadde
