New Inspector General of Police Abbas Byakagaba in a major police reshuffle has dropped Afande Fred Enanga as police Spokesperson and replaced him with ACP Rusooke Kituuma as the force’s mouthpiece.
SCP Fred Enanga who has been serving as the police’s spokesperson since 2018 after taking over from Emiriano Kayima is now deputy Director of Interpol.

In other changes, Richard Echega has been appointed Kampala Metropolitan Commander. ACP Twishime Gerald now Deputy KMP Commander, SSP Seguya now RPC KMP North, SSP Nanoka now KMP North.
Ziwede now CP Curriculum while SCP Steven Tanui who has been the KMP Commander is now Deputy Director Fire, SPC Nanding is now commandant PSU, CP Kibwika is now HRM. Nyabongo sent to Oil and Gas, ACP Mastura sent to Tourism and Muheire sent to Barracks.
