During today’s protests against Kenya’s finance bill, thousands of Kenyans thronged the roads across the different counties to stay put against the said bill which majority say will make the life of Kenyans even harder as it comes with harsh taxes on vehicles, food stuffs, pads, pampers, bread among other commodities.

Protesters overpowered police during the day, burned police cars, forced their way inside parliamentary buildings and set a blaze a section of parliament housing several offices. These also set a blaze a section of the Nairobi City Hall which houses the offices of the Governor and other City officials in Nairobi.

Police used live bullets killing several protesters on spot as MPs and Senators scampered for safety and were evacuated in ambulances.
