News reaching the Citizen Desk indicate that Dr Lina Zedriga Walu the Deputy President of National Unity Platform for Northern Uganda has lost her son Aaron Amani aged 35 years.
According to reports from the NUP establishment, Zedriga’s son was involved in a terrible accident along the Gayaza road last Friday and has been in coma until today when he breathed his last.

The deceased just like his mum was a staunch NUP supporter and was in November 2020 arrested with his Mum Dr Lina Zedriga and others in Oyam District while on a campaign trail with the NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine in his first attempt to challenge Museveni in a ballot competition.
According to a condolence message released by the party General Secretary David Lewis Rubongoya, burial arrangements will be communicated later.
